Our Story

COVID-19 is an infectious disease first identified in December 2019 in China that has resulted in an ongoing pandemic.

It has caused almost 600.000 deaths and there have been more than 12.5 million cases worldwide.

Due to this pandemic, we decided that we wanted to do something to help the community.

So we chose to create an app that aims to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus. We worked daily for months to create a safe and successful app.

Mission

Our mission is to try to decrease the future cases in Greece and stop the spread of the coronavirus.

The app that we created notifies you when you've been in close contact with another user of the app that has tested positive for the virus and gives you the percentage probability that you have contracted it.

This is done by users inserting their coordinates on their interface.

It also contains a form that you can fill in when you are showing some symptoms of the virus, and it will give you suggestions towards the preventative measures you should take.

Philosophy

We believe that prevention is the best way to combat this pandemic as:

“True prevention is not waiting for bad things to happen, it’s preventing things from happening in the first place.”

This can be seen by the quarantine being highly effective in in many countries that followed it en masse.

Ergo why we have decided to dedicate all our efforts on social distancing and preventative measures.
